President arrives in London, Queen’s representative welcomes

President Maithripala Sirisena arrived at the Heathrow Airport in London on May 11 to participate in the Anti- Corruption Summit – 2016 commencing on May 12 in the British capital.

President was welcomed at the airport by Queen’s special representative Bruce Holder, who is the Deputy Lieutenant to Queen Elizabeth and Kathryn Colvin, Special Representative of the Ministry of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and the officials of the Sri lanka High Commission. President Sirisena is to attend the Anti-Corruption Summit following an invitation of the British Prime Minister David Cameron.
